About Us

Mission

To aid the homeless communities of Sacramento and Stockton. By providing temporary assistance in the form of personal hygiene products, food, water, clothing & shoes. While connecting them to permanent solutions; shelters, medical & dental care, food banks.

Vision

A network of community, faith-based, private, and government organizations. Working together to meet the needs of the homeless community. Ultimately providing a seamless transition from homelessness to housing.

The HENS at a Glance

The HENS know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but, most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2016, a group of friends all passionate about helping those less fortunate realized that by working together we could aid our community much more efficiently. That is why we ultimately decided to launch our non-profit, Helping Enriching Nurturing Sister "The HENS".

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. By providing information to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. With our organization’s primary mission in mind, we provide temporary assistance to those in need. Service

At The HENS, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the homelessness crisis in our community. Supporting this effort is by no means an easy feat, but through volunteering and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
